"Mr. Yahya Nooruddin currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at t’azur Company b.s.c (c). He was also appointed as Advisor to the Board from June 2011 and then appointed as Board Member from October 2011 to May 2014. With more than 23 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Nooruddin is a well-known industry figure within the GCC. Having been Assistant General Manager of Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company, he was invited by the Board of Directors of Al Ahlia Insurance Company to become their Chief Executive Officer in 1996. Over the following 12 years, he transformed Al Ahlia Insurance into a profitable organization. Mr. Nooruddin holds a Masters Degree in Law and is a qualified Marine Engineer. He holds other Board memberships which include: Board member,t’azur Takaful Insurance Co. (K.S.C.C.), Kuwait, Chairman of Bahrain Insurance Association, Board and Executive Committee Member of Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital, Kingdom of Bahrain; Board and Audit Committee member for the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, Board Member & Chairman of Audit & Risk Committee, Saudi Venture Capital Bank, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as Board and Audit Committee Member of DAMAC Group, Dubai.
