Yara gained an interest in sustainable agriculture from her work in development in the Middle East. She has lived in between the United States and the MENA-GCC Region, working on developing programming aimed to spread sustainability practices within organizations and educational institutions. As the Operations Director at Agritecture, Yara advises clients on sustainability related matters and assess the economic viability of projects. She has earned a BSc in Environmental Health, with a double minor in Education and Public Health, from the American University of Beirut and an MSc in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
